After programming Memoir of a Snail for LIFF 2024, where it won the Audience Award, I was honoured to be asked to host this discussion at HPPH. Adam’s first feature Mary and Max was seminal in my passion to work in film, and I loved getting to talk to him in front of a sold out audience.

Extended introduction for Pride and Prejudice (2005) at Widescreen Weekend

I was asked to host an extended introduction to a screening of Joe Wright’s Pride and Prejudice at Widescreen Weekend at the National Science and Media Museum, Bradford. I loved the opportunity to speak about this film and my personal memories of its release and influence on me.

Live Q&A with director Molly Manning Walker and cast of How To Have Sex

I was lucky enough to see How To Have Sex at Cannes 2023 and it’s unique approach to the subject of sexual assault blew me away. I was grateful to programme one screening of the film during LIFF 2023 and interview Molly and the young Northern cast with their family in the audience.
